Last night, I threw some chicken breasts in the crockpot. Today I made pasta and a butter sauce to go with it.
White Wine Chicken
Ingredients:
4 chicken breasts
1/3 cup lemon juice
1 1/2 cups white wine
1 tablespoon minced garlic
freshly ground pepper
other seasons of choice
Place chicken in crockpot. Combine other ingredients and pour over chicken. Cook on low for 4 to 6 hours, though the longer you cook the more tender it gets.
Garlic Butter Sauce
Ingredients:
1 tablespoon minced garlic
1 tablespoon oregano
1 tablespoon thyme
1 teaspoon sage
1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
1/3 cup butter
Melt about one teaspoon of the butter in a small saucepan and then add garlic. Cook garlic until it turns golden brown
Melt remaining butter and combine with herbs. Mix in the garlic. Pour over and coat your pasta of choice.
